Jake Paul offered $100,000 Claressa Shields proposal ahead of Tommy Fury fight

Female Olympics two-time gold medal boxer Claressa Shields has offered to spar Jake Paul, in which she'll put $100,000 on the table.

Shields and Paul may be one of the more stranger feuds in the sporting world, with the two going back and forth with jibes towards one another in recent months.

Shields, who won the gold medal at both the London and Rio de Janiero Olympics, has an unbeaten 11-0 record as a professional.

She is set to make her UK debut next month at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr's bout with Liam Williams.

Shields has also transitioned to fighting in the MMA ring recently, winning in her debut fight before losing last month - with Paul joking at her expense afterwards.

The 26-year-old has now publicly challenged Paul to a boxing fight.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, she said: "He isn't even going to take an offer to come and spar me. I have put $100,000 on the table and whoever wins in sparring can walk away with the money.

"And I bet you will all I will walk away with the dough, Jake Paul would not risk it.

"Nobody on his team would tell him to risk it, because they know he can't do anything with me. Despite all of my accomplishments I had this MMA split decision loss, and he was like 'Amanda Serrano is better, she's this and that'.

"You don't even have an accomplishment to say my name."

The feud between the pair emerged after Shields revealed she does not respect Paul's boxing career, claiming he "sucks" at it.

Paul immediately took to social media to continue their battle and brand her a "loser".

"The truth hurts but it's necessary," Paul said. "Clarissa [sic] Shields is a loser. In MMA and even more so with her prima-donna attitude."
