Jake Paul no knockout contract clause confirmed as Tommy Fury dubbed 'terrible'

Conor McGreagor's teammate Dillon Danis has reaffirmed claims that Jake Paul is not allowed be knocked out in his boxing bouts, as well as dubbing upcoming opponent Tommy Fury as 'terrible'.

Paul is due to face-off against Fury in Florida later this year, having defeated Anthony Taylor on the undercard of Paul's victory over Tyron Woodley.

Following that bout in Cleveland, there were claims that part of Woodley's contract for the bout stated that the UFC veteran was not allowed to knockout Paul.

While that didn't mean the fight was allegedly fixed, it did supposedly mean that Woodley had to take a step back when he had his opponent on the ropes.

Danis is now the latest to claim that is indeed the case, as well as making it clear that he doesn't rate Fury highly - stating Paul was 'smart' to take the fight.

"That is true. Tyron Woodley, that's why he hasn't said anything about it, he had to sign an NDA not to say anything about that. So it was like a double rule, you know?" He told Plan Bri Uncut.

"The fight was not rigged. They could box, but he's not allowed to like knock him out. So when he was against the ropes, he kind of just stood there.

"Now he's fighting Tommy Fury, who's terrible. He's like a Jersey Shore reject. It's an easy payday for him, it's a smart move."

Danis himself is keen on stepping into the ring against one of the Paul brothers, with a potential bout against Logan Paul.

"If I'm going to do MMA or boxing, I don't mind either one. I'm gonna see Jake or Logan. Logan's been talking s***, so I don't know."
