Jake Paul mocks Tommy Fury with Tyson Fury 'shadow' jibe ahead of December fight

Jake Paul has mocked Tommy Fury of 'living in the shadow' of Tyson Fury whilst questioning his ability to perform under the pressure ahead of their fight.

The two will clash in the ring on December 18 in Tampa, Florida, having held discussions for months after Paul defeated Tyron Woodley.

On that same night, Fury defeated Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor, however, did not put in a convincing performance in doing so.

Social media star turned boxer Paul is undefeated at 4-0 in the ring, as is Fury, 7-0, the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson.

However, Paul has questioned the legitimacy of Fury's record and the standard of his previous opponents.

Paul said: "He's only been put in there with opponents that were meant to lose. This is his first real test where his opponent isn't some guy who is just going to flop over.

"He has no idea what he's getting himself into. This is his first time under the big lights, on the big stage, and he's going to crack under pressure."

Paul would go on to question Fury's ability, whilst continuing to mock him in comparing him to his brother. The social media star also acknowledged that Fury would be the first boxer on his record.

"The beautiful thing about this fight is the unknown," said Paul, who has knocked out two former UFC fighters.

"Is he actually a Fury, or will we find out that he's just a half Fury? Does he have the heart like his brother, or is he just living in the shadow of his brother.

"The beautiful thing about this fight is stepping into the unknown, because this is also my first time fighting a real boxer, whatever that means?

"He's undefeated, he's young, same age, same weight, same height, so it's really a perfect match-up.

"We're just going to see who worked harder, who wants it more and who has that dog inside of them."
