Jake Paul given $250,000 cash in exchange for new tattoo before Tommy Fury fight

Jake Paul accepted a challenge from DJ Charlie Sloth which saw him get a new tattoo in exchange for $250,000 cash just days before his fight with Tommy Fury.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul, 26, is scheduled to fight Fury next Sunday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after two previous meetings between the pair have collapsed. Love Island stat Fury first pulled out of a fight against Paul in December 2021, citing a bacterial infection and broken rib, with the Brit also pulling out of their rescheduled meeting last August.

'The Problem Child' recently met up with popular UK DJ Sloth, who promised to gift him $250,000 if he tattooed a bottle of Au Vodka on his arm. Sloth is a co-owner of the vodka brand along with Charlie Morgan, who is mostly known for being the Swansea ballboy that was kicked by Eden Hazard during Chelsea's Carabao Cup against the Welsh side in 2013.

In a video posted on Paul's Instagram account, the boxer meets up with Sloth who has $250,000 cash in a briefcase. The pair shake on the bet and Paul promises to drink the vodka after he knocks out Fury in their upcoming fight. As Paul prepares to get the tattoo, he says he would have done it for free to which Sloth jokingly asks for the $250,000 back.

The tattoo artist then stencils the design, which shows a bottle of Au vodka, onto Paul's upper arm before tattooing it on. Paul then proudly shows off his new ink, but some fans aren't a fan of the tattoo. "Be covered up next week," one user wrote. "A bit naff that tattoo...but for 250k," another comment read. "When is he going back to get it finished off," a third user added.

Paul is unbeaten in six professional fights and will receive a world ranking if he beats Fury next weekend despite having only fought retired MMA fighters, athletes from other sports and fellow influencers. The American picked up the biggest win of his boxing career last October by winning a decision against 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva.

Fury is growing sick of his opponent's pre-fight bets after Paul challenged him to change his last name to Mae, in reference to his partner Molly Mae Hague, if he loses their grudge fight. Paul previously offered Fury an extra $500,000 if he could beat him in their cancelled fight last year providing the Brit agreed to change his name to Tommy 'Fumbles' if he lost.
