Jake Paul explains why he called out Tyson Fury while wearing a fat suit

Jake Paul has revealed he called out heavyweight champion Tyson Fury while wearing a fat suit after using it during filming for a commercial.

YouTube star Paul is preparing for his sixth professional boxing fight against UFC legend Anderson Silva which will take place this Saturday night in Arizona. The content creator has become one of the most prominent names in sport during his short career and has sparked online feuds with the likes of Conor McGregor and WBC heavyweight champion Fury.

Both Paul and Fury have shown respect for each other throughout their careers despite the YouTube star being embroiled in a fierce rivalry with Fury's brother Tommy which could yet see the pair touch gloves. Recently Paul issued a comical call-out video of the older Fury sibling on social media while wearing a fat suit, in which he shouted: "Ever since I moved up to the heavyweight division, Tyson Fury has been real quiet. Tyson Fury, where the f**k you at, p****y? Boom?"

Paul has now revealed that he kept the fat suit on at times during his training camp as himself and his team found it funny. "Nah I am coming to the ring and I am moving up to the heavyweight division," Paul joked in an interview with DAZN when discussing his latest comedy stunt. "No not really I was doing a commercial as my company is actually sponsoring the fight.

"They are like the official sponsor it is BETR and the concept is called 'Point of view Jake Paul loses to Anderson Silva'. It is what would happen if I lose to Anderson Silva and it is joking like I will get fat and that kind of stuff you will see in the commercial. But I had to keep the fat suit on to shoot more content because we all found it hilarious."

Fury has been a public backer of Paul's boxing career despite the pair briefly engaging in a war of words after a heated press conference for his cancelled bout with Tommy last December. In their most recent engagement online, the American labelled the 'Gypsy King' as the leading pound-for-pound fighter in the sport.

"First and foremost Tyson Fury has been the most dominant heavyweight in the division for so long," Paul explained during a statement on Twitter. 'He beats every heavyweight by TKO/KO including Usyk and there hasn't been a heavyweight in the sport that hasn't fallen off eventually but Tyson Fury is still on top and I expect him to retire on top."

Fury then issued a supportive message in response on Instagram which showed a real sign of respect between the pair. It read: "Get up there Jake Paul. This man knows his stuff."
