Jake Paul responds to Tommy Fury fight question after victory against Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul refused to give a definitive answer regarding a potential bout with Tommy Fury after overcoming Tyron Woodley in Cleveland, Ohio.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer emerged triumphant via a split decision that came after eight rounds of boxing, where Paul looked to be in control.

Amidst the preparations for the fight, Paul has had an ongoing feud with Manchester fighter Fury - with continued speculation that the pair could meet in the ring.

However, when asked immediately after the bout whether Fury is next on the agenda, Paul appeared to dodge the question.

“Honestly, we will see. I’ve been boxing for 18 months, I haven’t been to the dentist, I haven’t had my hair cut in like two years, my teeth are crooked, my nose is crooked," he said in the ring after the fight.

"I’ve dedicated the past 18 months to this, I haven’t stopped. I think I need to chill out for a second, figure out who I am.

"I’m only 24, I’m changing, I’m growing, I’m learning a lot, I’m going through ups and downs, making mistakes, but I’m keeping my head on straight. I’ll get back in the gym when I’m ready and we’ll see."

Fury had laid down the gauntlet to Paul after his victory against Taylor earlier in the night, confirming he wants the next fight.

“Jake Paul should have an easy night, so he’s got no excuse in not taking the fight. Let’s get it on Jake Paul. I’ve done my bit, now you do your bit tonight," he said in the ring after the fight.

"There's no excuses now, you've seen everybody here and I've had the biggest cheer in the place. There's no excuses, no running, no hiding, I want you next you bum. Let's get it on."
