Jake Paul details what he saw from Tommy Fury during backstage confrontation

Jake Paul has claimed that he thought Tommy Fury was out of his depth during their altercation in Cleveland after his victory over Tyron Woodley.

Fury has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming bout against Paul due to a persistent chest infection and broken rib that hindered his training camp.

The pair will now face an indefinite wait to settle their bitter feud with Paul opting to face Tyron Woodley in a rematch on December 18.

Paul has now criticised Fury's actions during their face-off in August, claiming that the Briton realised he had "f***** up".

"Yeah I saw a little kid who isn't ready for this, the lights, the camera and the action," Paul told the IMPAULSIVE podcast. "He was standing in that back hallway waiting for me to get his little moment on camera.

"He had no idea what he was getting himself involved with and I mean that like deeply, he f***** up by doing this."

Paul brought Fury to America to feature on the card against Anthony Taylor while he defeated Woodley by split decision.

The altercation set precedent for negotiations to begin between the pair with Fury and Paul frequently exchanging on social media.

After the fight was announced arguments embroiled between the teams with Fury's father John and brother Tyson also heavily involved.

However Fury now faces being frozen out from the rivalry after his withdrawal facing widespread criticism from Paul's team.

The YouTube star was extremely frustrated in his reaction to news of the fight collapse and has vowed to now make his rival wait "years" for a rescheduled date.

He said: "He didn't show up to the press conference then he pulled out of the fight. He's done a terrible job of promoting the fight we had; he posted on social media once every other week.

"He's not as hype as everyone thought and I'm p***** off now. I don't like him and I don't want anything to do with the family.

"I think they're sketchy and they're shady and I don't really see a reason to come back next year and give him that big of an opportunity and that big a pay day.

"It would almost be more fun and more satisfying to leave him the dust and let him fight until he's 25-0 to get the same pay day as he was getting in his eighth fight."

Fury now faces an extended period out of the ring according to his doctor who was begged by the British star not to derail his tilt with Paul.

His father Fury Sr expects as a result of the delay that the bout could only be rescheduled as early as March despite Paul's initial reluctance.
