Jake Paul describes Tyson Fury as a "giant teddy bear with a funny accent"

Jake Paul has admitted he finds it hard to dislike heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, branding him a "teddy bear" despite their recent exchanges.

The YouTube star was set to face Tyson's brother Tommy in a grudge match this weekend but the Briton was forced to withdraw with a chest infection and broken rib.

Paul has remained embroiled in a bitter rival with the Fury family including the 'Gypsy King' who has previously branded him a "w*****".

However he has admitted that the exchanges are just "talking s***" and is unmoved by the pair's differences due to his rivalry with Tommy.

“I love it. It’s entertaining man," Paul told The Herald and The Age. "It’s entertainment. It just gives me more content, it’s hard not to laugh at the guy, you know.

"Even though he’s talking s*** to me, he’s funny. He’s like a big, giant teddy bear that just has a funny accent and it’s hard not to like him, to be honest. We may have our differences, but f*** it. Who cares.”

Fury and Paul rarely clashed at the UK press conference which Paul dialed into, except when the British heavyweight spoke of his confidence in his brother securing victory.

Paul also asked for Tommy to donate his purse to his brother for "promoting" the fight which was set to take place on December 18.

He even claimed that he would be willing to face the WBC champion if he was able to make a switch to the cruiserweight division.

However Tommy has since been forced to pull out of his mega-money opportunity to face Paul with his doctor expecting his absence to extend until early next year.

The former Love Island star's brother defended him in the aftermath of the postponement claiming the young star does not "need" his bitter rival to continue his boxing career.

"The fight was supposed to be in 10 days or something, and if he can't fight he can't fight," Fury told iFL TV. "That's it.

Will Jake Paul defeat Tyron Woodley this weekend? Let us know your prediction in the comments section below

"They'll go on how he's lost a payday, bloody hell, if you're going to be any good and win a fight he's going to be rich anyway, he's already rich!

"The money from the Jake Paul would have been good for him, alright, but he'll make it again. You don't need Jake Paul to define your career - who the f*** is Jake Paul when he's at home?

"He's some f****** floppy haired YouTuber who nobody's interested in and everybody hates by the way, so it is what it is. When Tommy recovers from his injuries I'm sure he'll be back active again in the new year."

Tommy has now been replaced by Tyron Woodley who Paul will face in a rematch this weekend.
