Jake Paul could clash with KSI and Tommy Fury at Floyd Mayweather fight

Jake Paul is likely to come face-to-face with both Tommy Fury and KSI at Floyd Mayweather's exhibition against Deji.

Boxing legend Mayweather will touch gloves with Paul's former opponent Deji in Dubai on Sunday night. It is expected Deji's brother KSI - real name JJ Olatunji - will be in attendance to show his support in Dubai, with potential opponent Fury also on the undercard.

Paul has been linked with fights against both KSI and Fury, and has even signed a contract to face the latter twice before the events have collapsed. However the 'Problem Child' has announced he will attend the event a a special guest, writing on Twitter : "Dubai…It’s about to be a party! I’m ready to step in if Tommy pulls out!"

Paul last came face-to-face with Fury last August when the British star fought Anthony Taylor on the undercard of his clash with Tyron Woodley in a bid to set up the clash which was set up for December. But the fight was cancelled when Fury pulled out with a broken rib, but the pair have seen each other on video calls since.

Meanwhile KSI responded to the news, tweeting: "Can’t wait to see him try to slap me in person." The pair have met face-to-face three times in person, including when the Briton fought Paul's brother Logan with the second professional fight ending in victory in 2019. However the pair shared a head-to-head in the ring as talk of a potential fight rose following Paul's win over KSI's friend AnEsonGib by first round stoppage in 2020.

It was expected a showdown would take place between the pair shortly afterwards, but after the coronavirus pandemic struck, KSI elected to take time out of the ring to focus on his music career. It is unclear if Paul intends to confront either of his rivals, but it is likely he will come face-to-face with Fury given the pair are seemingly on a collision course for next year.

Paul has claimed that the pair have agreed a deal for the fight to potentially be staged next spring, providing Fury comes through his test against ex-Marine Corps Paul Bamba this weekend. However he intends to leave the planning of the event to Fury's promoter Frank Warren with any fight likely to be staged in the UK.

"There's no real game being played," Paul explained. "I do think he got scared the second time, and maybe he'll get scared again but it is what it is. I just want to make him pay for that and I think where things are going now we've given up on trying to put on an event with him. I think his team is doing it now, they're the ones working on it and they're the ones taking all of the risk if Tommy pulls out. So financially I would be protected in that case."
