Jake Paul has boasted about beating the 'Drake curse' following his win against Tyron Woodley.
The YouTube star earned a split-decision win against the former UFC champion after eight rounds in Cleveland on Sunday night.
Before the fight, Paul outlined his plans of breaking the 'Drake curse', a trend which saw Conor McGregor and Anthony Joshua lose after posing for a picture with the famous rapper.
The 'curse' drew similarities to MMA analyst Chael Sonnen as the former UFC middleweight whose pre-fight predictions have often gone awry.
And Paul said on the ' Impaulsive ' before his fight with Woodley: "I do have a couple of curses going into this fight. The Drake curse, so any time he has publicly supported an athlete, they lose.

"And Chael Sonnen, same thing. As soon as he predicts someone’s gonna win, they lose.
"I plan on saging myself and doing spiritual cleansing the week of the fight to lift the Drake curse. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I need to get rid of this Drake curse somehow."
But thankfully for Paul, he didn't suffer the same fate as McGregor and Joshua and he later tweeted: "FYI: I broke the Drake curse".
Paul improved to 4-0 with his win over Woodley. His previous three wins have come all by stoppage but against much weaker opponents.
The 24-year-old knocked out fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson and former UFC welterweight Ben Askren in his previous fight.
Paul has since called out UFC stars Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz after the fight but also teased an early retirement from the ring on Twitter.
Paul and Woodley verbally agreed to a rematch in the ring after their grudge match. For that to happen, Woodley must have an "I love Jake Paul tattoo" with Paul revealing the five guidelines he must follow.
And Woodley must get the new ink soon, as Paul said: "You know if Tyron Woodley gets the tattoo, he better get it fast cause otherwise we're gonna book a different opponent.
"I told him if he wants to get the tattoo, put it on his Instagram, permanent tattoo, then maybe we'll talk about it."
Woodley thinks he won the fight and is keen on running it back with Paul.
But he won't be getting the tattoo unless Paul's team sends a contract through for a rematch, stating: "S*** I don't know. I need to see some paperwork on this rematch. I think that's the game plan.
"To be honest, Nakisa [Paul's manager] gave me his word. He hasn't gave me wrong since. So I gotta roll with him on that. He's honoured everything."
