Jake Paul calls out Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal after UFC stars leave ringside seats

Jake Paul has called out Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal after the UFC pair left his fight with Tyron Woodley early.

Diaz was in attendance to support friend Chris Avila, who defeated Paul's training partner Anthony Taylor on the prelims, but he didn't stick around to watch the YouTube star viciously knock out Woodley.

And fellow welterweight Masvidal, with whom Diaz fought in 2019, was also at the Amalie Arena for the fight, but wasn't interested in a confrontation with former friend Paul.

Their early exits led to an abrasive call-out from the YouTube star, who put down the former champion of their division in the sixth round of their fight last night.

"Look at the year I just had, unprecedented," Paul said in his post-fight interview in the ring. "One of the most valuable fighters in the sport; four fights, four massive pay-per-views in 13 months.

"I've knocked out every single person that I've fought and hey Masvidal and Nate Diaz, y'all are some b****es for leaving this arena.

"Because I know you don't want that s***, I'll take out both of y'all next.

"Just get out of your contract with daddy Dana, and I'm going to f*** them up too!

"I want anyone, anytime, any place - it's every f***ing day bro!"

He would later go on to expand on that call-out by begging promotional boss Dana White to allow them a similar deal to the one that allowed Conor McGregor to fight Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

The UFC president has only once co-promoted in his time as the top promoter in MMA; when McGregor faced Mayweather in a massive Las Vegas pay-per-view.

But Paul has asked for one of Masvidal or Diaz to be allowed out of their contracts temporarily to allow for a fight to take place between he and one or both of the pair.

"I would put this at No.1 because of the level of opposition," he responded when asked where this win ranks among his career victories.

"He's a five-time UFC champ and I flatlined him; Ben Askren wasn't really a striker, Nate Robinson was a basketball player but the fact that I proved I have one-punch power on a legend of this sport people are going to be scared.

"That's why Masvidal and Nate Diaz got up out of their seats and left because they didn't want me to jump out of the ring and start going at them.

"People should be scared, everyone's on high alert - everyone's a target, no-one's safe hide your kids, hide your wife.

"I'm like Santa Claus I'm coming down your chimney and f***ing everybody up, your whole family.

"Dana, I just knocked out a five-time UFC champion and embarrassed your whole company.

"Please, please let me get Kamaru Usman, let me get Diaz, let me get Masvidal, let me get McGregor because I'm going to embarrass them too.

"I promise you that, Dana, I promise you that."
