Jake Paul calls for KSI to be disqualified for knocking out Joe Fournier with his elbow

Jake Paul has insisted KSI should be disqualified for using his elbow to KO Joe Fournier.

Fourier was sent crashing to the canvas in the second round of his grudge fight with KSI in London on Saturday night, seemingly by a right hand. But replays showed he was hit with an elbow and left out cold on the ground. The referee failed to see the illegal shot and KSI was declared the winner.

And KSI's long-time rival Paul immediately took to social media to demand an investigation into the result. "I respect boxing too much to respect what that was. If that was indeed a real boxing match it will be ruled a no contest or disqualification," he said.

KSI was looking to set up a fight with Tommy Fury when he took on 'boxing billionaire' and nightclub owner Fournier at Wembley Arena. And the influencer started the faster of the rivals as he took the fight to the elder man in the opening round.

Fournier looked to improve in the second session, landing an early right hand, but was then caught by the same shot. He then appeared to be clipped with another as he was sent crashing to the canvas. The referee waved the fight off before replays showed he had been hit with an illegal shot.

KSI rejected any suggestion he had his elbow, saying: "I hit him with a massive shot. He was dazed and scrambling, trying to hold onto me for dear life. I was like 'Brudda, it's D-day, your soul is mine'." He added: "I want to give a big shoutout to every single one of you that came through to see me from my bedroom playing FIFA to knocking out a 9-0 pro.

"First round I tried to give him a fly-by and we weren't able to get it. the timing was off and he was keeping that awkward range. I just saw it was open for the overhand. the overhand he said he wouldn't get caught with is the same overhand that I knocked his a** out with."
