Jake Paul brutally shut down after claiming brother Logan wobbled Floyd Mayweather

Jake Paul was left embarrassed after his suggestion that Logan Paul "beat" Floyd Mayweather was instantly dismissed by Leonard Ellerbe.

The majority of people expected Mayweather to deliver an early knockout blow on Paul, but the YouTuber exceeded all expectations by taking the 50-0 undefeated star to eight rounds of action.

Paul's record heading into this fight stood at 0-1 after losing to KSI and the expectation was that he would be humiliated when taking on a titan of the boxing world.

No official winner for the fight was declared due to pre-agreed rules, but Jake Paul was adamant that his brother came out on top.

Shortly after the event had taken place, he tweeted:

"50-1. HOLY F***.

"MY BROTHER JUST BEAT FLOYD MAYWEATHER."

And Paul didn't stop there.

When in attendance at the post-fight press conference, he continued pushing his idea that Mayweather had suffered defeat.

He told his brother after the bout: "You just beat Floyd Mayweather!"

Logan responded to this claim with hesitancy as he questioned his brother: "Did I? But there were no judges?"

Jake refused to give up this view, however, as he continued to heap praise on his sibling.

"You wobbled him, come on! The only couple of times he has ever been wobbled is by you, Shane Mosley and [Marcos] Maidana," he said.

Logan Paul then sought the opinion of Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather productions, as he struggled to produce a response.

Ellerbe was asked if Mayweather had been wobbled during the exhibition fight, to which he simply replied: "No."

Logan took his word for it, as he added: "Leonard said he [Mayweather] wasn't wobbled. We'll watch the replays, I don't want any trouble. Leave me out of this, I'm just a boy with a dream."

Both Mayweather and Paul were full of respect for each other when speaking after their bout.

Mayweather admitted to being "surprised" by Paul's ability as he credited the spirited performance of the 26-year-old.

"[He was] a great level fighter. Strong, tough. He's better than I thought he was," expressed the undefeated star.

"He's a tough, rough competitor. It was good action, we had fun. I was surprised by him tonight. Good little work. Good guy."

Meanwhile Paul added: "The fact I am in here with one of the greatest boxers of all time proves that the odds can be beaten," he said.

"It's one of the greatest moments in my life."
