Former Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers has failed to rule out a potential bout with Tommy Fury in the future.
The 34-year-old enjoyed a stint in MMA with Bellator but after a defeat to Austin Clem, he decided to try his hand in boxing.
He revealed that Fury's opponent, Anthony Taylor got in touch with him over a potential bout with Chalmers which he turned down as he eyes his first steps in the field.
The bout will take place in Cleveland, Ohio later this month.
With a debut in the ring looming this year, Fury's next opponent following the former American MMA fighter could be named.
"He messaged me about six weeks ago saying give us your number," Chalmers said. "I'm looking back now thinking b****** I should have given it to him," Chalmers told Mirror Fighting.
"He'll be there again, Tommy [Fury] will be there, so I'm not too worried, what will be will be... Anthony is a funny guy!"
The unbeaten Brit began his boxing career following his stint on Love Island, winning his six fights, four by knockout.
And earlier this year, the 22-year-old was embroiled in an online spat with Jake Paul who headlines the main event to which he is on the undercard.
The Ohio YouTuber and Boxer aimed a dig at Fury's girlfriend, Molly-Mae Hague. He said: "Oh, and one last thing Tommy. You should be more worried about your girl sliding into a bunch of dude's DMs than you should be fighting me," he stated, then sharing a photo of the alleged message.
The message, alleged to have been sent in October 2018, reads: "Might be coming to America later this year and have always been a fan of your videos. Maybe you can show me around?"
Molly-Mae quickly refuted Paul's claim.
Fury said that if he was to meet Paul in a boxing fight he would "break every bone" in his face.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m thick-skinned, I’m a professional athlete. These boys ain’t. These boys play games on the internet and run around for a living.
“I will break every bone in his face. You don’t bring people’s loved ones into it. It’s a fight. It’s nothing to do with them, leave them out of it.”
