Jake Paul accepts Nate Diaz rematch offer - but not in the boxing ring

Jake Paul could be set for a rematch against rival Nate Diaz – but not in a boxing ring.

‘The Problem Child’ got back to winning ways following his loss to Tommy Fury against the former UFC star in August by easing to a unanimous points victory.

Paul had initially confirmed his desire to fight Diaz again but called for Fury to “sign the contract” on their second bout after his brother Logan beat Dillon Danis on the undercard of Fury’s controversial win over KSI.

Now, however, the YouTube star’s promotional company Most Valuable Promotions have confirmed Paul has accepted an offer to fight Diaz in an MMA format.

Paul signed a contract with MMA company Professional Fighters League (PFL) at the start of the year and said after his win over Diaz: “I want $10m, PFL that’s the offer,” Paul said to Diaz.

“Let’s run it back in MMA, make it fair. I won one, now it’s your chance in your home territory. Let’s do it.”
