Jake Mulraney eyed by Atlanta United as MLS side weigh up move for Hearts star

Atlanta United are weighing up a £200,000 swoop for Hearts star Jake Mulraney.

The MLS outfit’s head coach and former Rangers star Frank de Boer wants a fast, wide player to bolster his attacking reinforcements.

And the Jambos ace is high on the list of options drawn up by Atlanta sporting director Carlos Bocanegra, another former Ibrox player like De Boer.

Atlanta recently announced links with Aberdeen and they have been working together on the scouting front, with chairman Dave Cormack confirming the Dons had helped the Americans identify potential signing targets in Europe.

And Irish winger Mulraney, signed from Inverness in 2018, is one the Dons can give chapter and verse on.

The 23-year-old, who came through at QPR, has impressed at Tynecastle and signed a long-term deal earlier this year.

Hearts, however, are desperate to free up funds for new head coach Daniel Stendel and could cash in on Mulraney.
