Jake Morris said it was one of the most special weeks of his life as Tipperary were crowned All-Ireland U20 champions for the first time at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.
It was just six days after Morris came off the bench in Tipperary’s All-Ireland SHC victory over Kilkenny at Croke Park. “I don’t think I will ever top this week,” said Morris.
“During the week a few of the senior members were telling me this would be one of the most special weeks of my life but I was just trying to stay focused.

“This is unreal, two All-Irelands in one week and I am absolutely thrilled.
“It wasn’t hard to focus. Some of these boys are my best friends and I wasn’t going to let them down by over-celebrating. I badly wanted to win this.
“Liam Cahill has drilled it into us for the last four years, start the match well. I think we really did that.”
