It's being reported that Jake McLean had a "secret girlfriend" before he was killed in a car crash. Jake's on-off TOWIE lover Yazmin Oukhellou was also left seriously injured when his car careered down a 30ft down a ravine in Bodrum, Turkey, last month.
According to The Mirror, he was allegedly seeing a 27-year-old mum-of-one who works has her own beauty business in Essex.
The Only Way is Essex star Yazmin Oukhellou was also in the wreckage and was forced to snap her own arm in a bid to escape the crash. Jake had a complicated love life and now one source claims he was actually dating a beauty therapist called Chloe Hennessey at the time of the incident.
After attending Jake’s funeral, Chloe posted a touching tribute on her Instagram page where she is followed by Jake’s ex Lauren Goodger. “Chloe was his girlfriend and they loved each other,” a source told MailOnline. “She has a close relationship with his family and together they're helping each other get through this terribly sad time.”
"What a beautiful day for a beautiful soul. So happy everyone important that should've been there showed up,” Chloe penned after Jake’s funeral. So many laughs, cries, and happy memories with all his closest loved ones. Hope you can fully rest in peace now fly high Jakey. Love you forever always in our hearts.”
She added: “This has taught me that life is so short and we must cherish our loved ones. I have been taking some time away from social media to fully focus on my mental and physical recovery. I needed this time away to work on healing and processing everything as best I can. I am so grateful for our memories and the special time that Jake and I shared. I've not stopped thinking about him and I'll miss him always. He will forever hold a special place in my heart.”
She is the owner Chloe's Beauty Boutique in Essex where offers aesthetics and cosmetic treatments including filler, Botox, and Brazilian bum lifts. At the time of the crash, Yaz and Jake were said to have been on holiday in Turkey, where Jake was understood to have been involved in a business deal.
Yazmin, an ex of James Lock, had left Essex for Dubai to live with Jake around a year after they began dating. They went public with their romance in December, with loved-up snaps of them together in Dubai.
But they split in January and Yaz was due to make a return to TOWIE as she flew to the Dominican Republic for filming in June. She wasn’t present at Jake’s funeral which was attended by ex Lauren, TOWIE star James Argent and beauty therapist Chloe, amongst other TV stars.
