Jake Hastie taunts Celtic as Rangers new boy filmed declaring he'll stop 10-in-a-row

Rangers new boy Jake Hastie has been filmed on holiday declaring he'll stop Celtic winning 10-in-a-row.

The 19-year-old will join the Ibrox club on a free transfer this summer after his contract at Motherwell expires.

And he's made an early declaration of intent as Steven Gerrard's side look to end their Glasgow rivals' domestic dominance.

In a live stream posted on the Instagram account of former Hearts youngster Rico Quitongo, Hastie declares he's "here to stop 10, ole ole".

He's been partying at popular Ibiza club Ocean Beach - the same venue Ryan Jack was filmed being carried out of by Graham Dorrans just last week, before the latter was knocked unconscious in a separate incident later that day.

A separate post shows Hastie popping open a bottle of champagne, which Quitongo captioned as "Him celebrating being Rangers worst ever signing".

Hastie shot to prominence midway through this season as he forced his way into Stephen Robinson's Motherwell side with a string of powerful displays.

That drew Rangers' attention and they tied up a pre-contract agreement before the season ended.

Hastie then suffered a backlash from Motherwell fans as they turned on the Scotland U-21 star.

He was abused as he warmed up in front of supporters during a clash against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

The winger was taunted with chants of "Jake Hastie, you're a w*****" and "You're just a s*** David Turnbull" before being booed as he entered the field as a second-half substitute.
