Jake Fromm struggles as South Carolina upsets Georgia

It was a rough day between the hedges for Georgia and one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects as the Bulldogs were upset at home by South Carolina on Saturday.

Jake Fromm was picked off three times by the Gamecocks defense, including one in overtime that helped send the Bulldogs to their first loss of the season.

Georgia trailed for the entire second half until Fromm put together his best drive of the day, leading the Bulldogs to the game-tying touchdown with less than two minutes remaining. But his inability to move the ball in overtime led to scoring zero points in either of the two extra periods.

Fromm was intercepted in the first overtime, but after a missed field goal bailed out the Bulldogs, they missed one of their own that would have tied the game and sent it to a third overtime.

Fromm finished the game 28-for-51 for 295 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.
