Jake Browning got an NFL drug test notification right after the Bengals beat the Vikings in OT

The NFL waited no time to set up a drug test for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning after he led the team to a 27-24 overtime victory against the Minnesota Vikings at home on Saturday.

Browning’s stint filling in for injured quarterback Joe Burrow has been a pleasant surprise for Cincinnati, as he’s helped the Bengals keep their playoff hopes alive after losing Burrow for the season.

However, the NFL must still want to check in on Browning anyhow as the league has been known to do with surprising performances from unexpected players from time to time.

At least he had a sense of humor about it, as he posted the text notification requesting a test on his Instagram.

The NFL can administer as many drug tests as it wishes, but it’s not likely to dampen the fun of “Browning Fever” in Cincinnati.

We’ll see how long this Cinderella story can go for the Bengals, but it sure looks like Browning is taking it all in stride.
