Imphal: Congress leader and the party’s poll observer for Manipur, Jairam Ramesh is currently camping in Imphal to discuss strategies for the crucial state Assembly polls due early next year. The grand old party is eying 45-46 seats in the 60-member House. On Saturday, the poll campaign, manifesto and coordination committees of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee conduced separate meetings, which were attended by Ramesh, AICC’s Manipur in-charge Bhakta Charan Das and research and department secretary Ranajit Mukherjee, a Manipur PCC leader told TOI on Sunday.
