JAIPUR: A 35-year-old woman a practising yoga teacher allegedly chopped off the genitals of her 28-year-old friend, who too is a yoga teacher.
The matter came to light on Thursday evening when the man got discharged from the hospital and lodged a case at the Bhankrota police station area of Jaipur.
According to police, the woman and the man have been in touch for a long time and both were practising yoga teachers. "On November 16, the woman asked the man to bring some vegetables and milk and invited him for dinner. When the man was returning home, the woman asked if she could accompany him. After returning home, the man complained of nausea post dinner. When he got up at night, he found his genitals chopped-off and the woman disappeared," said a senior police official.
"It appears that the victim was drugged during dinner," the official added.
The woman while talking to him over the phone, asked for forgiveness for all that happened and later the woman took the victim to the hospital. "He was at SMS hospital. After getting discharged, he has lodged a case. We have registered a case of attempt to murder and initiated investigation," said an official at Bhankrota police station.
