Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner divs likely to get rainfall tomorrow

JAIPUR: With fresh western disturbances and upper air cyclonic circulation, the Jaipur, Bharatpur and Bikaner divisions are likely to get mild to moderate rainfall and lightning on February 4. In a forecast issued on Tuesday, Jaipur Met office stated that the rainfall will bring a drop of almost 4 °C in the minimum and maximum temperatures. Pilani remained coldest in the state with a recorded minimum temperature of 7.5 °C.

Majority of the places witnessed bright sunny days except Sriganganagar and Hanumangarh where early morning fog was witnessed. Mercury took an upward swing on Monday and provided respite from the shivering cold condition. “There has been a continous rise in the avergage minimum and maximum temperatures in the past four days due to the bright sunny day. Also, with prevailing northerly winds, mercury took an upward swing in almost every part of the state,” said a Jaipur Met official.

People in Jaipur woke up to a comparatively warmer morning as a minimum temperature of 12.9 °C, almost 4 degrees above the normal notch was witnessed. It was followed by a bright sunny afternoon having a maximum temperature of 26.8 °C. As there is a forecast of rainfall on Thursday, Jaipur is again going to witness its minimum temperatuees below 10.0 °C from Friday.

Likewise in the rest of the state, the average minimum temperature was above 10.0 °C and average maximum temperature was above 22.0 °C. “Shivering cold conditions have almost vanished from the state as places like Fatehpur, which usually get its minimum temperatues below 4.0 °C had its minimum temperature of 11.2 °C on Monday,” an officer with the Jaipur Met office said.
