Bryan Kohberger, a vegan, has filed an official complaint with Idaho state prison officials that he has “not received all items of food” on his tray at meal time, in what’s just the latest problem the convicted murderer has had adjusting to life in the J Block at the Idaho Maximum Security Prison (IMSI).
According to Fox News Digital, Kohberger’s food-related complaint read, “I have, on several occasions, not received all items of food on my tray. I address this during service, and have yet to receive any replacements.” In fact, he added, “the kitchen is not even called.”
Reportedly, Kohberger went on to reference the “policy book” and stated that IMSI officials did not replace the missing items. “The nutritional standard is not being upheld unless I receive my full tray,” Kohberger’s complaint said.

Kohberger has also officially complained of “sexual harassment” from other prisoners who have shouted vulgar comments at him through walls, doors, and through the ventilation system. According to reports, Kohberger worries that his food is poisoned and that he may step on something contaminated at the facility. Kohberger has gone so far as to request a transfer.
Reports also say Kohberger has told officials he has been kept awake by other prisoners shouting and making noise through the vents.
In July, Kohberger pleaded guilty to the brutal November 2022 murders of University of Idaho college students at their home in Moscow, Idaho: Xana Kernodle, Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, and Ethan Chapin.
The J-Block at IMSI is a highly restrictive housing unit used for inmates requiring the highest level of security, where death row prisoners and those under administrative segregation or isolation are housed.
Snitches who are “weak will never survive”
I am getting top notch info about his daily life. Kohberger has filed a bunch of prison grievances. Claiming his vegan is not adequate, complaining about the taunts, limited access to law library, he's cold.

Referring to Kohberger, retired NYPD inspector and Fox News contributor who has followed the Idaho 4 murder case, Paul Maro said, “Kohberger seems to be turning out to be something of a jailhouse Karen. It doesn’t bode well for his longtime prognosis for getting along in that environment.”
Lighter Side of True Crime podcast host Keith Rovere added, “He would have been better off just keeping his mouth shut and taking it.
According to Rovere, the other inmates would likely have stopped harassing Kohberger over time, but now that they know they’re getting a reaction, “They are going to ramp it up in ways that he can’t even imagine. A snitch who is weak will never survive,” Rovere said.
