Jailed South African businessman appears before corruption inquiry

In South Africa, the Madlanga Commission set up last year to unpick allegations of unlawful kickbacks, cliques and corruption in the criminal justice system continues its investigations. The revelations from evidence presented during proceedings have been dramatic. Businessman Vusimuzi Matlala, who is accused of bribing his way to political and police clout, appeared before the commission on Monday.
