Jailed racist Billy Charlton 'kicked out of Washington home' and will be 'homeless' when released

Supporters of racist bully Billy Charlton say he has been evicted from his Washington home.

The 55-year-old was jailed for 21 months in September for using lies to whip up frenzied racial hatred at a rally.

Newcastle Crown Court heard his words sparked violence from other protesters, including a gang of white thugs who attacked two innocent Asian men.

However, on his Facebook page, supporters claim Charlton will effectively be homeless once he's released.

"Since being jailed he has had his council house taken from him and not allowed to apply for another (for a) year from his release," stated a public post to his 1,300 followers.

"The establishment are trying to ruin this man and doing a good job at doing so."

A spokesperson for Sunderland City Council was unable to confirm the claims about Charlton's home on Byland Court, in Glebe.

The spokesperson stated the authority doesn't have any housing stock after transferring it almost 20 years ago.

However, further posts on Charlton's Facebook page show supporters have been flooding HMP Northumberland with cash for Charlton to spend inside.

Another inmate gifted Charlton a "brand new pair of Nike kicks", according to another status.

After being moved from HMP Durham to the Category C prison, Charlton apparently thinks his new home is a "pure s*** hole".

"He says it’s infested with spice heads," moaned a supporter about the jail, which has historically had an issue with drugs.

Charlton was convicted after trial of five charges of stirring up racial hatred.

He portrayed himself as a purveyor of free speech whose sole aim was to protect Sunderland women from rape and violence.

However, prosecutor Sharon Beattie told jurors: "His true intentions, say the prosecution, were to stir people up against immigrants, Asians, black people and the police."

As he was jailed, Charlton shouted "I hope your daughters don't get raped" to the jury.
