A jailed newspaper editor in Azerbaijan has been charged with a terrorist offence. Eynulla Fatullayev, founder and editor of two independent newspapers that were forced to cease publication under government pressure, is already serving a 30-month prison sentence on a libel conviction. Now he has been accused of making a terrorist threat in an article which suggested that Iran would attack Azerbaijan if the government supported US military operations against Tehran.
