A rowdy man who attacked two police officers in Hamilton on Christmas Eve has been jailed for four months.
James Mournian, 45, of Bankhead Avenue, Lesmahagow, was sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
He admitted threatening or abusive behaviour in Buchan Street and at Motherwell police station.
The court heard Mournian kicked and damaged a vehicle, shouted abuse and struggled with police officers.
He also admitted kicking PCs Craig Hartley and Tracy Torrance.
