A Hamilton rowdy who assaulted two police officers has been jailed for six months at the town’s sheriff court.
Ricky Sheridan, 24, of Glasgow Road, admitted shouting abuse and struggling with officers in Neilsland Street on June 6.
His aggressive behaviour continued at Wishaw General Hospital and Motherwell police station.
Sheridan also admitted spitting at PC Jimmy Halcrow and biting him then attempting to bite PC Karen Selley.
