Jahlani Tavai shows off his family and support system

As new Lions linebacker Jahlani Tavai gets set for his first taste of the NFL with this weekend’s rookie minicamp, he gathered his family and support system back home in Nevada. Judging by the picture he posted on his Instagram feed, there are a lot of people showing him love and support in his family.

Tavai posed with some 20 people at a home in Henderson to mark the occasion. That’s Jahlani in the center, surrounded by love.

He has not had the easiest road to the NFL, so it’s great to see that he has so many people trying to make sure he succeeds.

Tavai also took time to take in alma mater Hawaii’s men’s volleyball team play for the national championship over the weekend. The Rainbow Warriors lost to Long Beach State.
