Jaguars week 5 injury report: Robertson-Harris, McCray sit out of practice on Wednesday

The Jacksonville Jaguars released their first injury report of Week 5, and it appears the team is relatively healthy heading into their game against the Tennessee Titans. With four players surfacing on it, two didn’t practice in veterans defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris (ankle) and edge-rusher Lerentee McCray (hamstring).

McCray was the player to most recently sustained an injury after hurting his hamstring during the Jags’ Thursday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was ruled questionable to return. He also missed Week 2’s game against Denver with a hamstring injury, so this could be a case where the injury was aggravated. However, if he can’t go, maybe the Jags will be open to making fourth-round rookie Jordan Smith active for the first time Week 5.

Robertson-Harris surfaced on the injury report Week 3 and hasn’t played since the Jags’ Week 2 game against Denver. As a result, veteran Adam Gotsis has started in his place from Weeks 3-4 and has filled in well in the process.

The other two players to surface on the injury report for the Jags were running back Carlos Hyde and cornerback Tyson Campbell. Hyde was inactive in Thursday’s game because of his injury but wasn’t on last week’s injury report, and neither was Campbell.

Meanwhile, the Titans had 21 players surface on their injury report. More on their situation can be found on Titans Wire.
