Jaguars Week 18 injury report: Various starters sit out of practice Wednesday

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ first injury report only had six players on it, but most of them were starters. Luckily, only two of the starters were out for injuries in linebacker Myles Jack (knee) and tight end James O’Shaughnessy (hip). The other two starters were held out to rest in linebacker Damien Wilson and receiver Marvin Jones Jr.

Jack has routinely been on the injury report for weeks, but has been able to play in all of the Jags’ games where he surfaced on the report for his knee injury. He’ll continue to sit out Thursday as that was a routine he agreed to earlier this season.

O’Shaughnessy missed the Jags’ last game against New England with his injury, which was sustained in the last offensive drive of the Jags’ Week 16 game against the New York Jets. In Wednesday’s presser, interim coach Darrell Bevell said that there was a chance that O’Shaughnessy could play, but his situation is something that will have to be monitored in the coming days.

Linebacker Dakota Allen (shoulder) and running back Ryquell Armstead (knee) also were on the injury report, but the former was a limited participant, and the latter was a full participant.

As for the Indianapolis Colts, they had nine players on their injury report and it can be viewed on the Colts Wire.
