Jaguars upgrade CJ Henderson, Myles Jack to full participation Thursday

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense continued to get healthier Thursday as two of their starters were full participants from their injury report. Those players were linebacker Myles Jack and cornerback CJ Henderson, both of whom were limited on Wednesday.

The Jags’ other defensive starter on the injury report, Josh Allen, remained limited, marking his second day of at least practicing to some capacity.

On offense, receiver DJ Chark Jr. didn’t practice for the second consecutive time with an ankle injury. The injury was one Chark sustained this past Sunday in the fourth quarter of the Jags’ game against the Houston Texans. After he exited the game he never returned, and if the Jags are without him Sunday against the Detroit Lions, it could cause some issues for a passing game that did not fare well with him out of the lineup Week 3.

However, one player who appears to be trending upwards for the receiving corps was rookie Laviska Shenault Jr. He was upgraded to limited participation Thursday after not practicing Wednesday, which could mean he’s on track to play Sunday. The rookie has been a consistent force for the offense for most of the season and having him will be crucial, especially if Chark can’t go.

Another notable name to watch will be veteran defensive tackle Abry Jones, who was downgraded from limited to non-participation. With the Jags already struggling in the interior, not having their most experienced defensive lineman could be an issue, though rookie Davon Hamilton could benefit from receiving an increased workload.
