Jaguars, Ravens in the process of setting up joint practices for the preseason

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens are in the process of setting up joint practices for the 2019 preseason, according to Ravens coach John Harbough. The veteran head coach added that both teams are aiming to have the practices during Week 1 of the preseason and that the announcement will become official once the league sorts out its preseason schedule.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, the joint practices will take place at the Ravens facility, which means the Jags will start the preseason on the road once everything is cleared.

This upcoming preseason will make for the third consecutive one in which the Jags have participated in joint sessions. Last season, they traveled to Minnesota to practice against the Vikings for two sessions and in 2017 they traveled to Foxborough to practice against the New England Patriots. The Jags also hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017 at TIAA Bank Field.

The Ravens, who went to the playoffs this past season, would definitely be an interesting team to get reps against as their defense was ranked first in the regular season. Their offense was no slouch either as quarterback Lamar Jackson and company finished the 2018 regular season second in rushing and ninth in total offense.
