Jaguars LS Matt Overton had the best response to Colts fans seeking refunds on season tickets

Leave it to Jaguars long snapper Matt Overton to have the best possible reaction to the backlash over Andrew Luck’s retirement.

As we saw on Saturday night, Luck’s shocking retirement wasn’t met kindly by some Colts fans. He left the field at Lucas Oil Stadium to boos — something that Luck said was hurtful. And now, some angry Colts fans are asking for refunds on their season tickets.

According to The Athletic’s Zak Keefer, the Colts ticket office had received multiple calls from frustrated fans seeking refunds on their season tickets. Regardless of if the Colts honor those requests, the fans should get a hold of Overton.

On Monday, the former Colts long snapper said that he would purchase season tickets from fans and donate the seats to the patients and families of Riley Children’s Health in Indianapolis.

Overton played five seasons with the Colts. Both Overton and Luck were involved with Riley Children’s Health during their time in Indianapolis.

Let’s hope fans take Overton up on his offer because that gesture is fantastic.
