Jaguars’ Jalen Ramsey and Doug Marrone have heated exchange

The Miami Dolphins might not be the most dysfunctional team in the NFL, after all. In fact, they’re not even the most dysfunctional team in the state of Florida.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have moved to the top of both lists. There were some warning signs in the season opener when quarterback Nick Foles suffered a broken left clavicle and a n undisciplined defense gave up 40 points in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

But things really got out of control in the first quarter of Sunday’s game between the Houston Texans and Jaguars. Coach Doug Marrone and cornerback Jalen Ramsey got into an altercation on the sideline.

It wasn’t as physical as when Houston Oilers defensive coordinator Buddy Ryan punched offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride or when Carolina Panthers linebacker Kevin Greene attacked assistant coach Kevin Steele. But this wasn’t pretty at all. It’s another sign that the Jaguars seem to be spiraling out of control early in the season.
