Jaguars injury report: WR Dede Westbrook and several others upgraded to full participation

The Jacksonville Jaguars upgraded several players to full participation during Thursday’s practice session, including receiver Dede Westbrook, who didn’t practice Wednesday for a personal reason. Veterans Calais Campbell, Brandon Linder and Marcell Dareus all joined him as a full participant, as all three were limited Wednesday per coach Doug Marrone’s choice to help them get prepared for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.

The Jags had five players who didn’t practice Thursday, including All-Pro corner Jalen Ramsey, who was excused from the team for the birth of his second daughter Wednesday night. Some notables who joined him were tight end Josh Oliver and Marqise Lee, both of whom were scheduled to be rested. Meanwhile, linebacker D.J. Alexander and defensive end Lerentee McCray also missed practice with hamstring injuries.

The Jags only had two limited participants in receiver Chris Conley (knee) and linebacker Quincy Williams (illness). With both players receiving 70 and 99 percent snap counts last week, respectively, the status of both will be worth monitoring on the final injury report which will be out Friday afternoon.
