Jaguars extend contract of kicker Josh Lambo

The Jacksonville Jaguars have extended kicker Josh Lambo on a four-year contract, as first reported by John Reid of the Florida Times-Union.

Lambo, 28, has been in the NFL since 2015.  The Wisconsin native kicked at Texas A&M during the 2013 and 2014 seasons before signing with the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent.  Later, Lambo was released by the Chargers and found his way to Jacksonville in the midst of the 2017 season.

The former Aggie has made 38 of 41 field goals attempted as a Jaguar, good for a 92.7% accuracy rating.

Not too soon after the word broke, the Jags broke the news on their Twitter page with pictures of Lambo signing his deal from the Pet Paradise dog park at TIAA Bank Field with his wife, Amy, and some furry friends of his.
