Jaguars elect not to tender WR Jaydon Mickens

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Jacksonville Jaguars have elected not to tender wide receiver Jaydon Mickens making the wide receiver a free agent.

Mickens, an undrafted free agent out of the University of Washington, signed onto the Oakland Raiders in 2016. He later joined the Jaguars in September of 2017 season where he was used as a punt returner. Hey

Mickens had two returns for over 60 yards including a 72-yard score. However, he did not perform at this level in 2018 after suffering a fractured ankle during Week 6 and eventually ended up on injured reserve.

Now, the former Jaguar will look to latch on to another team as a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver and starting special teams returner.
