Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey lists Raiders among 2 teams he’d go to if he becomes a free agent

The Raiders could become the most attractive destinations in the league once they officially move to Las Vegas, and we have already seen numerous players express interest in playing in Sin City.

The latest player to say he wouldn’t mind joining the Raiders in Las Vegas is Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey. While he still has two years left on his contract, it sounds like Ramsey is already looking ahead to free agency.

On a recent episode of “Bussin’ With the Boys,” a podcast hosted by Taylor Lewan of the Tennesee Titans and former Titan Will Compton, Ramsey had this to say about where he would like to play next.

“It would probably be either (Tennessee) or Vegas,” Ramsey said. “I like Vegas. It’s got no state income tax.”

There have been some rumblings over the last few months that Ramsey would live to be paid now and Jacksonville isn’t eager to offer him a contract anytime soon. If Ramsey intends to leave the Jaguars once he becomes a free agent, is it possible Jacksonville would be open to trading him now?

If that’s the case, Oakland would make a lot of sense as a destination. The Raiders have the cap space to trade for him as well as the draft assets to make a deal possible. While a move is undoubtedly unlikely now, it can’t be ruled out entirely. Look for this to continue to be a storyline over the next several months in Jacksonville.
