Report: Jaguars turned down two 1st-round picks for Jalen Ramsey

The Philadelphia Eagles are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position. Jalen Ramsey has requested a trade from Jacksonville and would seem to be a good target for the Eagles. Nothing has suggested the Eagles are interested in Ramsey, but if they are, the asking price for him is reportedly high.

According to CBS Sports, the Jaguars turned down an offer of two first-round picks for Ramsey, because of the belief that they would have fallen near the end of the first round.

Ramsey didn’t practice last week, and he missed the first game of his career, sitting out the teams 26-24 win over the Broncos on Sunday as he continues to seek a trade. With the Jaguars’ recent string of success, it appears the club wants to pull the plug on any such deals at the moment.

For the Eagles and any other team trying to secure Ramsey, it appears they’ll have to wait for things to continue to get ugly in Jacksonville before the Jaguars finally decide to make a move.
