Jaguar driver in knife-point carjacking terror in centre of Glasgow

Police are hunting a man who stole a car at knife-point in Glasgow.

The 30-year-old victim had his blue Jaguar XF stolen when a man with a blade got into the vehicle in the Bridgeton area of the city on Saturday morning.

The incident happened at around 11am on London Road near to Abercrombie Street.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the car, which has the registration NA11 OAX.

The suspect is white with a muscular build and was wearing a black baseball cap and dark coloured jacket.

The victim is 6ft 6ins with brown hair, stubble and was wearing a grey coloured jacket, blue denim jeans and brown leather shoes.

Police Constable Emma Laurie said: “The victim was left extremely shaken by this incident and we are working to establish the circumstances leading up to the robbery.

“If anyone has any information relating to this, or saw anyone matching the descriptions either before or after the incident, they should contact us."
