Jags have full participation after CB Tre Herndon is upgraded to limited

The Jacksonville Jaguars had full participation for the first time this regular season due to cornerback Tre Herndon (MCL sprain) returning as a limited participant Thursday. Herndon is the only player who hasn’t been able to participate in practice since the regular season started as he sustained his injury in the Jags’ first preseason game against the Cleveland Browns.

Herndon was trending upward on Wednesday all though he had a “DNP” status. He was seen on the field with a helmet and a knee brace then but worked on the side which made it clear he’d eventually be able to practice sooner rather than later. If he’s able to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos, it would be huge for a Jags secondary that needs all of the experience it can get at the moment.

Herndon was one of four players on the injury report alongside pass-rushers Jordan Smith and Lerentee McCray and cornerback Tyson Campbell. All three of the other players on the injury report were limited participants, too.
