Jags claim OL Parker Ehinger off waivers

The Jacksonville Jaguars continued to add depth to their offensive line this week by signing former Dallas Cowboys lineman Jags claim Parker Ehinger off waivers Thursday.

Ehinger, 26, initially entered the league as a fourth-round selection (No. 105 overall) of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft and spent two seasons there before being traded to the Cowboys for cornerback Charvarius Ward last year. While with the Chiefs, he participated in five games and started in four at left guard as a rookie, but ended up on injured reserve with a knee injury. Not too soon after being traded in 2018, Ehinger found himself on injured reserve again in early September after another knee injury.

Prior to entering the league, Ehinger played collegiate football at the University of Cincinnati where he played left tackle, right guard and right tackle, which goes to show fans his versatility. However, in guessing, the Jags may predominately look at him at guard due to already having good depth at tackle.
