Jags claim OL Andrew Lauderdale off waivers, part ways with TE Pharoah McKever

The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed former Arizona Cardinal offensive lineman Andrew Lauderdale off waivers Friday. To make room for the addition they also waived second-year tight end Pharaoh McKever.

Lauderdale, 25, initially entered the league in 2017 as an undrafted free-agent  from the University of New Hampshire with the New Orleans Saints, but has been a journeyman since. He made stops with the San Fransisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Arizona Hotshots (AAF) and Arizona Cardinals before being picked up by the Jags.

Lauderdale has yet to register a start or play in a regular season NFL game so he’s a bit of an unknown. He’ll have an uphill battle to make the roster with tackle Josh Wells, Cedric Ogbuehi, Donnell Greene and Leonard Wester all currently on the depth chart, but practice squad could be a possibility if he impresses during mini-camp and training camp.

According to Jaguars.com, he’s listed at 6-foot-6, 294 pounds, but his number hasn’t been determined.
