Jaffa Cake gin is now a thing and it's the ultimate boozy treat

The world of flavoured gin is wild and wonderful.

Ever since the spirit's makeover from 'mother's ruin' to tipple du jour, distilleries and small batch producers everywhere have launched boozy inventions that Willy Wonka would kill for: think seaweed, cannabis, cardamom and plenty more, all in the hopes of quenching the nation's thirst for the juniper-spiked classic.

Now there's a new gin making a play for a prized place in your home bar.

And it tastes of Jaffa Cakes.

Uniting the universally-loved flavours of the teatime favourite, Jaffa Cake Gin has been made with notes of oranges, fresh orange peel, cocoa powder and the piece de resistance: real Jaffa Cakes.

Packaged in a tall glass 70cl bottle with a bold label, it's lip-smackingly delicious neat or as the star ingredient in a weekend Negroni. In fact, Master of Malt is offering a special deal on Negroni cockail bundles, which include a bottle of Jaffa Cake gin, on its site now.

With lockdown measures continuing for the foreseeable, a fun little luxury like this could prove the perfect treat to boost your spirits.
