Saturday was a memorable day for everyone associated with Manchester United.
The 4-1 win over Newcastle United sent Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side to the top of the Premier League table, with two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo on his second debut helping secure the three points.
Obviously, the return of Ronaldo dominated the back pages, but there were plenty more positives to be taken from the game.
Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane were both superb against the Magpies, with the former the catalyst for much of United's good play, while the latter looked like he'd been playing alongside Harry Maguire his entire career.
Bruno Fernandes notched his customary goal with a fantastic 30-yard effort, but there were a couple of players whose stellar displays went slightly under the radar, a category £73 million man Jadon Sancho falls into.
The 21-year-old arrived from Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer as one of the most promising players in Europe, having terrorised defences in the Bundesliga for the past three seasons.
He was originally brought in to play as Solskjaer's right-hand forward, but an injury picked up by Marcus Rashford and the fine form of Mason Greenwood has seen him shifted to the left of the front three.
This isn't a completely new role for him having played there on a number of occasions for Dortmund and even scoring in the DFB-Pokal final against RB Leipzig when playing from the left.
Despite not registering a goal or an assist on Saturday, it was Sancho's first start at Old Trafford since his big-money move and he's slowly showing signs of progression.
In his first start against Wolverhampton Wanderers two weeks ago, Sancho failed to make much of an impact on the game. However, supporters were keen to point out that, as we've seen with many players who've come from Germany to England, it can take time to get used to the speed and physicality of the Premier League.

However, if Saturday's performance is anything to go by, £73 million is an absolute bargain.
Only Pogba (three) and Luke Shaw (four) registered more key passes than the 21-year-old's two. On top of this, he was only dispossessed twice, completed one dribble and had a pass success rate of 89%.
He linked up well with Shaw down United’s left-hand channel and always offered width to ensure the Newcastle defenders were stretched as they tried to pay close attention to Ronaldo.
Some of his selfless running off the ball was also key to ensuring Ronaldo was afforded space in the area. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner will be the main focus of most of the defences he comes up against this season, and players like Sancho who can stretch teams and draw players away will be crucial if Ronaldo is to weave his magic.
There's no point putting so much pressure on someone so young when they have all the time in the world to improve, however, Saturday was undoubtedly his best game in a United shirt so far and showed signs of why Solskjaer wanted to sign him in the first place.
Under the guidance of players like Ronaldo, Pogba and Fernandes, there's no doubt that Sancho will blossom into something special, and once he has his first goal involvement under his belt he can use that as a springboard to kick on at Old Trafford.
At the same time, United's transfer dealings have also benefitted Sancho in the sense that there's less expectation on him to make an immediate impact at the club.
There's arguably more pressure on fellow summer recruits Ronaldo and Varane given their unbelievable respective careers to date. Sancho's career is in its relative infancy and so the fans know they may need to allow him time to settle before we see the best of him.
That being said, Saturday's performance gave us a glimpse of what is to come, and it's almost difficult not to get excited about the talent Solskjaer now has at his disposal.
