Jadon Sancho transfer hurdle cleared as Manchester United navigate Achilles Heel to set up signing end-game

Manchester United have agreed terms with Jadon Sancho and his representatives, according to a report.

The Borussia Dortmund star is boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 's top target but the Bundesliga side's £108million valuation has proven a major stumbling block.

United have been encouraged by indications Sancho is keen on a return to England after leaving Manchester City as an academy player in 2017.

And now, according transfer guru Fabrizio Romano's Here We Go podcast, the Old Trafford club have struck an agreement with the Sancho camp.

That's including agent fees, an issue which was earlier this summer said to be proving problematic.

Manchester United shelled out over £27m in agent fees last season, the third-highest in the Premier League, an area that's been previously been cited as a weakness in their signing strategy.

It was reported last week the club were determined to agree all personal terms before lodging an official bid with Dortmund.

The Germans have repeatedly insisted Sancho will be at the club next season and the winger could have to hand in a transfer request if he wants to move.

That could well be accelerated by United making an opening offer for the 20-year-old England international.
