Jadon Sancho told he doesn't compare to David Beckham level at Manchester United

One pundit is concerned that Jadon Sancho will never become a success at Manchester United.

Sancho has endured a torrid spell at Old Trafford since joining from Borussia Dortmund back in the summer.

In 22 appearances in all competitions for United so far, the 21-year-old has only managed to find the back of the net twice — against Villarreal and Chelsea.

This indifferent form has led to former Manchester City and West Ham winger Trevor Sinclair expressing his concern.

Speaking on talkSPORT to fellow pundit Simon Jordan, Sinclair said: "One player we mentioned when talking about players not doing it is Jadon Sancho.

"I am concerned about Jadon Sancho because one, he plays in an area of the pitch where you have to be lightning quick, he's not.

"And two, there is only one winger that I have seen succeed at Manchester United who is not lightning quick. David Beckham.

"He is not a David Beckham."

In the Bundesliga last season, Sancho managed to score eight goals and grab 12 assists in just 26 appearances.

Meanwhile on the European stage, he scored two and set up three goals in just six games.
